Kasandra Griffin

Associate Director, Energy Efficiency

Kasandra has spent her career trying to save the world, mostly in small environmental non-profit organizations. She has worked on clean air, clean water, transportation policy, food policy, and energy conservation.  She is most proud of starting an organization called Depave that works with willing landowners to remove asphalt and replace it with more climate-and-people-friendly uses, like gardens, playgrounds, and bioswales.  She has degrees in Linguistics and Public Policy from Reed College and U.C. Berkeley.  She has two small children and spends her free time in the garden, on the mountain, or on a river.
