David serves as the strategic lead, technical lead, and subject matter expert across a variety of programs and technologies supporting both the Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) and Policy & Ratings departments. This includes providing guidance and technical leadership for utility load management programs working with HVAC, lighting, refrigeration, and agricultural technologies, and acting as the strategic lead for home appliances to develop energy and water efficiency standards and test procedures through engagement with the Department of Energy, ENERGY STAR®, and industry processes.
