Ted Jones
Fellow, Energy Efficiency
Ted has over 30 years of energy efficiency program experience. In 2018, Ted joined Energy Solutions, as a Senior Trade Ally manager where he supported the implementation of midstream programs in the Northeast by engaging the suppliers of commercial equipment. As an Energy Solutions Fellow, Ted is responsible for the development and growth of life science equipment as a unique addition to midstream programs. He also co-leads an internal effort to enhance the performance of midstream programs that Energy Solutions implements through measure analysis, development, and adoption. Previously, Ted has worked for the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) to accelerate market adoption of efficient technologies related to electric motors, motor-driven equipment, distribution transformers, HVAC equipment, commercial foodservice equipment and energy management. Prior to that, Ted worked for the Alliance to Save Energy on industrial steam systems and the National Research Council on manufacturing policy. He has a B.A. in industrial management from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.A. in science, technology, and public policy from George Washington University.
