Renee Lafrenz
Associate Director, Energy Efficiency
Renee is an Associate Director in the Energy Efficiency department, where she has enhanced department operations to maximize collaboration and program effectiveness. She has extensive experience in the energy sector. As Director for the Alliance to Save Energy she developed and delivered energy programs and was the inaugural Energy Manager at the Oakland Unified School District. Renee received her Master of Environmental Science and Management with a specialization in Corporate Environmental Management from the University of California, Santa Barbara and Bachelor of Science from University of California, San Diego. She served as Board Chair of Keep Oakland Beautiful and President of her local alumni chapter for University of California, San Diego.
