John Jacobs

Director, Business Strategy

John leads the Business Strategy for Energy Solutions, driving the company product roadmap and the continual development of new services and offerings. John is skilled at shaping ideas into market-ready products and has a talent for listening to customers to meet their unique needs and experience in program design, software product management, and project execution. An industry veteran, prior to joining Energy Solutions, John held positions at The Center for Sustainable Energy, Ecova, Engie and CLEAResult. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of San Diego, and an M.A. in Sustainable Resource Management from the Technical University of Munich. He has numerous certifications in the product management space including a Certificate of Product Management from the University of California, Berkeley.
