Matt Pryor
Director, Distributed Energy Resources
Matt leads the company’s efforts to develop robust consumer protections for statewide solar programs that Energy Solutions administers on behalf of its clients. He specializes in program development, partnership engagement, and consumer advocacy. Prior to joining Energy Solutions, Matt was an attorney with over 15 years of experience in government oversight, policy development and compliance, first amendment, environmental, and employment law-related matters. Matt’s professional accomplishments include recognition from several federal judges on the Northern District of Illinois for his efforts in helping root out unlawful political discrimination from governmental employment in Cook County. Matt holds degrees from the University of Michigan Law School (J.D.) and Wake Forest University (B.A.) When not working, Matt loves hanging out with his wife and two sons, including coaching his son’s baseball team, running, and playing piano in a very informal band with his wife and friends.
