Director, Building Electrification

Evan leads, manages, and supports Energy Solutions’ energy efficiency programs with a primary focus on building electrification, emerging technologies, and environmental social justice. Evan currently oversees TECH Clean California, a $170 million heat pump initiative designed to help advance the state’s mission to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045. He also provides strategic direction for the California Statewide Electric Emerging Technologies Program (CalNEXT) and the HPWH Self-Generation Incentive Program. His passion for environmental-related activities extends outside of work, where he volunteers with the Asian Pacific Environmental Network and the Sierra Club’s Inspiring Connections Outdoors program. In his free time, you can find Evan coaching the University of California, Berkeley boxing team or at the beach catching waves.
