Erin Kempster
Fellow, Decarbonization Strategy
Erin is a Decarbonization Fellow at Energy Solutions overseeing the growth of our decarbonization practice. She directly manages the ongoing Demand Response Innovation Pilot for the Efficiency Maine Trust and coordinates across departments to surface new research, policy, and program models with GHG reduction benefits. Erin oversees a growing staff of employees based in CT, MA, NH, NY, RI, and VT and directly supervises staff managing upstream energy efficiency initiatives in MA, NH, NY, and RI. Erin has over a decade of experience in the energy sector and is well-versed in the regional regulatory landscape. Prior to joining Energy Solutions, Erin was an economist at the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities. Erin received a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, where she focused on International Environment and Resource Policy and Development Economics.
