SCE customers can receive no-cost energy efficiency technical support and cash rebates for projects that reduce energy consumption. This can be done through projects using prescriptive, deemed measures, and through custom energy efficiency projects.

 

Deemed Projects

A deemed project provides pre-approved cash rebates for common energy saving projects. Approved projects are eligible for rebates based on pre-defined criteria such as type of equipment, size of equipment, climate zone, etc.

IIS provides cash rebates for electric heat pump water heaters replacing commercial gas water heaters used for domestic hot water.

 

Custom Calculated Projects

A custom project is a pre-approved upgrade, retrofit, or new installation. Customized incentive payments are determined by energy project savings. Typically, much larger in scope than a deemed or prescriptive project, custom projects can include a wide range of facility, equipment, and project types.
