Kyle Coumas
Director, Energy Efficiency
Kyle leads the Trade Ally Management practice area for the Energy Efficiency department. He has recruited, trained, and guided the most high-profile market actors in the US through significant changes to their business processes to facilitate the sale of high efficiency equipment. These relationships and collaboration contributed significantly to the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island Water Heating Initiative, which was recognized by ACEEE as an exemplary program in 2018. The Massachusetts and Rhode Island Initiative was also recognized as the winner of the Department of Energy’s Advanced Rooftop Campaign for 2017 and 2018. In addition to managing a team of trade ally managers, Kyle leads the deployment of the Incentive Connect software platform, which streamlines participation in energy efficiency programs and enables large scale market transformation. Prior to joining Energy Solutions, Kyle helped launch a home performance contracting company where he received his Building Analyst certification. He received his undergraduate degree and MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
