Michael Budds   

Fellow, Energy Efficiency 

Michael has over 15 years of experience in resource efficiency supporting a wide range of projects from primary research to program implementation. Michael supports business development and program design leveraging years of experience designing and implementing residential, commercial, and industrial sector programs. As a Fellow, Michael is responsible for tailoring program designs to meet the complex and varied needs of our clients. He helps define organizational procedures to drive new business opportunities and ensure consistent deployment of Energy Solutions’ product features. Michael also supports strategic planning efforts working cross functionally within the organization and with key partners to prepare for market evolution and emerging trends in the industry. Prior to Energy Solutions, Michael worked at several different energy efficiency program implementation companies supporting projects throughout North America. He is passionate about the wise use of natural resources in support of sustainable development. Michael has a B.S in Resource Conservation from the University of Montana and a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University.
