Technical Director, Distributed Energy Resources
Ms. Wang develops and manages a variety of programs for the Distributed Energy Resources team. She provides deep expertise relating to demand response, demand-side integration, and electric buses. She managed and continues to support PG&E’s automated demand response (ADR) Program, which provides incentives for controls and communication equipment to non-residential customers to help facilitate demand response. For Southern California Edison, she pioneered the design and implementation of an upstream ADR pilot–which provided incentives to HVAC distributors and contractors to install ADR-enabled commercial HVAC equipment. Recently, she led a review of existing control capabilities of variable refrigerant flow systems for DR participation, with respect to Title 24 compliance and California ADR Program eligibility. Ms. Wang has authored numerous reports on demand side management (DSM) resource planning, utility program evaluation, and demand response.
